I’m Shane—the filmmaker behind your wedding film.
A year ago, this life wasn’t something I could have mapped out. At the time, I was balancing military service with a civilian role on base, living within a routine that was predictable and structured. While there was stability, there was also a quiet restlessness—a growing desire for freedom, creativity, and work that carried meaning beyond a schedule.
Storytelling has always drawn me in. I’ve long been fascinated by people—where they come from, what they carry, and the moments that quietly shape who they are. That curiosity eventually led me alongside my wife, Desiree, as she built her photography business. Watching her create, travel, and document love with intention opened my eyes to the power of preserving real moments as they unfold.
What began as supporting her work slowly became a calling of my own. After deep prayer and reflection, I took a leap—leaving behind the familiar to pursue something far more aligned with who I am at my core. Joining Desiree wasn’t just a career shift; it was a commitment to building something meaningful, creative, and deeply rooted in purpose.
Today, I approach wedding films with a documentary mindset and an editorial eye, creating work that feels timeless, refined, and emotionally honest. I don’t believe in staging moments or forcing narratives. Instead, I focus on observing quietly, allowing your story to unfold naturally, and capturing it with intention and care. Every film is crafted to feel cinematic yet personal—elevated, but never inauthentic.
My goal is simple: to create films that don’t just show your wedding day, but allow you to feel it again—years from now.
When it comes to documentary-style filmmaking, my goal is never to create something generic or formulaic. I approach each wedding with the intention of capturing the emotion, movement, and atmosphere that make your day uniquely yours. Your film should feel like an honest reflection—not just of how everything looked, but of how it felt to be there in that moment.
I focus on what’s real: the unguarded laughter, the quiet exchanges, the nervous energy before a big moment, and the joy that fills the room when everyone comes together. I don’t stage scenes or prompt reactions. Instead, I observe and document as your day naturally unfolds, allowing genuine moments to lead the story.
From intimate conversations to full, unrestrained celebration, every piece is thoughtfully woven into a cinematic narrative that feels personal, timeless, and true. No distractions, no overproduction—just a carefully crafted film that preserves the heart of your day exactly as it was.
